Michel Roggenbucke holds a 4-year BA from the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (1994). He received his MA in the field of Museum Studies (2014) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since April 2023 he has a PhD in Classical Archaeology and the archaeometallurgical study of iron artifacts from the excavation of the Cave of Zeus at Parnitha (NKUA). He joined the Department of History and Archaeology of the NKUA as a member of Laboratory Teaching Staff in 2009. He is in charge of the Conservation Unit of the Museum of Archaeology and History of Art, which was established in 2010. He has worked as an archaeological conservator for the Institute of Aegean Prehistory - Study Center for East Crete (1998-2008) and with fixed-term contracts at the Greek Ministry of Culture. He has also taught at private and public Vocational Training Institutes (1996; 1999-2001).
