The Journal of the Department of Archaeology and History of Art (AURA) is an international journal with a double-blind peer review system, published annually by the Department of History and Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Its aim is to publish original works focusing on the archaeology, art, and material culture of the broader Greek world, from the distant prehistoric period to the modern era. The journal is freely and openly accessible. Its issues are published electronically as PDF files. All articles are freely available to everyone online immediately after publication and under the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
