    Application documents:

    1. Application (there is no special form, you write it yourselves), which will mentionι: your contact details, the Univiersity-ies where you wish to move in preference order and the semester (W or S) and a short account of the reasons why you wish to move to the specific University-ies.

ATTENTION: Each student may apply to move to up to three (3) Universities.

    2. Transcript of Records.

    3. Copies of language certificates (they do not need to be oficially certified copies at this stage).

    4. Short CV.

Criteria for student participation in ERASMUS+

Students who do not meet the following criteria may not participate in the procedure of applications and selection, even if there are no others interested.

    • Undergraduate students: a) must be registered at least in their second year of studies when they apply and b) to have been succesfully examined in at least as many courses as correspond to one year of study.
    • Postgraduate students must have successfully completed the first semester of their studies in the Postgraduate Study Programme wherein they are registered.
    • Final year or graduating students have the right to participate on the programme only if they owe an appropriate number of courses, which correspond to at least 30 credits, so that they have a wider choice of selection of courses from the curriculum of the receiving University and their respective accreditation by the NKUA.
    • The minimum required level of language skills is defined by our Institution, as part of mobility quality assurance, to the good knowledge of the official language of teaching of the receiving Univerdity (or any other language that the Univerdity employs for its students from abroad), namely B2 level, according to the language rating of the Common European Reference Framework for the Languages of the Council of Europe.
    • If the bilateral agreement mentions a higher level of language skills than Β2 (e.g. C1, C2), this level constitutes a selection criterion for the specific Institution.
    • Attention: Even if the receiving Institution accepts students with language level lower than Β2, this is not accepted by our own Institution.
    • The accreditation of the level of language skills is exclusively conducted with the submission of the relevant diplomas. Students who do not have the relevant diploma when they apply to their academic supervisors for mobility in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, are not eligible. For students of foreign language departments who do not possess a language diploma, th ePresident of the Department must attest their very good knowledge of the related foreign language.  Graduates of Foreign language and literature Departments are not obliged to submit such an attestation, since the language of the courses at the receiving institution is the one of their degree.
    • Students who have already moved with the ERASMUS programme for study or practical training are leigible to move again in the new ERASMUS+ programme, provided that the total period of transfer does not exceed 12 months (including both old and new dates) for each stdy cycle, but they will remain at low priority during selection in comparison to the students who apply to move for the first time.
    • NKUA students originating or permanently residing in the country where they wish to move with the ERASMUS+ programme will retain low priority during selection.
