The Department of History and Archeology is in the building of the School of Philosophy in the Main University Campus.

 Acess to the Campus is by road via 3 entrance gates:

• West, from the main entrance on Olof Palme Street
• East, from the Zografou Cemetery. The School of Philosophy is located nearby.
• South, from Kaisariani

From the main entrance on Olof Palme street, a NKUA rented bus departs daily for an internal route within the campus, at the following times: 8:00, 8:20, 8:40, 8:50, 9:00, 9:10 , 9:20, 9:30, 9:40, 10:00, 10:30, 10:55, 11:20, 11:40, 12:00, 12:20, 12:40, 13:00, 13 :30, 14:00, 14:20, 14:40, 15:00, 15:30, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00, 17:30, 18:00.

There are also many frequent bus lines serving the Campus area:

220: Akadimia - Ano Ilisia

221: Akadimia - Panepistimioupoli

230: Akropoli – Zografou

235: Akadimia - Zografou

250: Panepistimioupoli - St. Evaggelismos

608: Galatsi - Akadimia - Nekr. Zografou

E90: Peiraias - Panepistimioupoli (Express)

Bus lines 250 and E90 cross the Campus and stop just a few meters from the entrance of the School of Philosophy ("Filosofiki" Bus stop).
